Session Description
As the world struggles through a pandemic COVID-19, Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) in summer 2020 selects an international team to design Noida International Airport (NIA) in Delhi. The Delhi National Capital Region aims to reach 200 million passengers by the year 2060. The architectural team consisting of Nordic, Grimshaw, Haptic and STUP is representing offices across the Globe - Norway, UK, US, India. The only way to work together even without the pandemic would be to use the most advanced cloud services out there - BIM360. Using combination of BIM360 docs, Design and Collaboration the team has designed the most optimal workflows to suit the project needs. As the team proceeds with the four phased architectural design from their home offices, this demo aims to present the routines we used, the collaboration processes we introduced and discovered and the ways for us to bring together an international team to create sustainable and world class architecture.
Learning Objectives
Understanding BIM 360 collaboration and coordination workflows in the design of a large international airport
Set up a BIM360 project for teams located across different offices and countries
Learning optimised routines for BIM 360 Collaborate Pro, Navis works integration and issue manager
Understanding the challenges and potential improvements to the workflow
Autodesk - Future of Design

AUTOMATION - ARCHI SCRIPTING
Blogg about my scripting experience is found here: https://medium.com/@kristine.slotina
I have been working in architectural office for more than 9 years and simple things like making a simple script that saves time and architects from getting bored, makes my daily life much more happier.
Here is one of those scripts automatically correcting slighly off axes lines, floors and walls.
MODEL COORDINATION
Example from 2013 (T3 - Bergen Airport, Flesland)
